Here are our best transfer tips and selection choices for your fantasy football team heading into GW10.

Who’s in form?
Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Newcastle United are all in flying form at the moment, each racking up 13 points over their last 5 games and players across these teams have been real strong assets so far in this seasons FPL.
Ollie Watkins, Heung-Min Son and Kieran Trippier are all currently within the top 5 point scorers, with Watkins currently the most in-form player in the league.
Mohamed Salah is next in the form table and currently the top scoring player in FPL, and doesn’t look to be slowing down any time soon.
If these more than 1 of these 4 are missing from your squad, chances are you’re already falling behind in your mini-leagues.
Who’s got the best upcoming fixtures?
Brighton & Hove Albion, Burnley, Crystal Palace, West Ham and Arsenal all boast a relatively kind set of fixtures over the next 6 gameweeks.
Arsenal face all 3 of this season’s newly promoted teams in their next 6, with a visit to St James’s Park to face Newcastle in GW11 the only fixture that might raise concerns for owners of their players.
Brighton and West Ham also have nice runs to look forward to, but have struggled at times for consistency this season so it’s always difficult to know what to expect, particularly considering Brighton’s current injury crisis.
Who to avoid?
Chelsea have a nightmare run of fixtures coming their way. Fresh off the back of Arsenal’s visit to Stamford Bridge, they face Brentford away, before consecutive fixtures against Spurs, Manchester City, Newcastle, Brighton and Manchester United. Chelsea have put in some good performances of late but have struggled to turn those into results, and their players are probably best avoided until their fixture list turns kinder in December.
Both Manchester clubs also face a challenging few weeks but are perhaps slightly better prepared to deal with it, and both sides do still possess players of running up a high score in big games.
Luton, Brentford and Bournemouth all have some tricky tests ahead, and unless you’re looking for budget options who can stay on the bench, we wouldn’t suggest owning any of their players right now.
Transfer Tips
Who to bring in:
Bukayo Saka (Arsenal – £8.5m)
Although the Arsenal star hasn’t been in his greatest form lately, he often finds a way to chip in with a goal involvement and could benefit from his clubs favourable run of fixtures. With Sheffield United at home this weekend, Saka is a great potential captain shout.
Gabriel Martinelli is a cheaper alternative at £7.7m to get an Arsenal forward into your FPL team, but the fact Saka regularly ends up on penalty duties for the Gunners makes him worth the higher price if you can afford him.
Jarrod Bowen (West Ham – £7.4m)
Jarrod Bowen is in great form right now and regularly finding himself amongst the goals for West Ham. The Hammers face Everton at home this weekend and only face 1 “Big 6” club in their next 8 games, making him a sensible long-term investment.
Ansu Fati (Brighton – £6.5m)
With just 0.6% ownership and an excellent price, Ansu Fati is a fantastic differential option thanks to Brighton’s favourable upcoming fixtures. The Spaniard isn’t a guaranteed starter for De Zerbi’s side, but injury problems for the Seagulls means that plenty of minutes should be available for him to continue his impressive recent form.
Gabriel (Arsenal – £4.7m)
Thanks to his time on the bench at the start of the campaign, Gabriel is the cheapest option among Arsenal’s regular defenders and could take rack up a fair few clean sheets across his upcoming games. The Brazilian is also a set-piece threat for an Arsenal side that score often from corners, meaning Gabriel has more than one way to make himself a great asset to your team.
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool – £12.8m)
If you still don’t have Mo Salah in your fantasy football team, why not? He’s on an unrelenting mission this season to wrestle his crown back from Erling Haaland as the number one man in FPL and with Nottingham Forest, Luton and Brentford in his next 3 games, we expect the points to keep rolling in.
Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa – £8.3m)
Ollie Watkins is having a sensational season so far. Unai Emery has brought out the best in the English striker and he simply cannot seem to stop scoring. Villa face Luton at home this week, which presents an opportunity for a healthy score for Watkins. This game is followed up by a trip to Nottingham Forest and a home clash with Fulham, but that does end with a tricky run of fixtures until the new year. We’d still advise you to get Watkins into your side, but keep a plan to get him back out again up your sleeve if Aston Villa’s form dips.
Who to sell:
Marcus Rashford (Man United – £8.7m)
Surprisingly, 17.2% of you still own Marcus Rashford. He’s only managed to rack up 30 points so far this season, which is a long way from justifying his high price tag. The Manchester derby against Man City is a tough fixture for the England man, and although it’s followed up with 3 relatively easy fixtures, Rashford has been less of a focal point for United since Rasmus Højlund came into the side and we think the £8.7m is much better spent elsewhere.
Erling Haaland (Man City – £14m)
We know, it’s a bold move to take out the big Norweigen. However, with an 85.3% ownership, a crazy price tag and a tough run of fixtures heading his way, we think it’s the way to go. Unless you’re trying to preserve a lead in your mini-league and can’t afford the risk of a huge haul boosting the entire chasing pack, we think spreading the £14m Haaland costs around the side could be a much wiser move than playing it safe and keeping him.
Malo Gusto (Chelsea – £4.2m)
Despite a very appealing price tag we think it’s time for Malo Gusto owners to part ways with their budget way into the Chelsea defence. Reece James made his return from injury off the bench against Arsenal and will likely displace Gusto in the coming weeks. Furthermore, Chelsea’s extremely difficult run of games means that clean sheet points could be hard to come by for any Chelsea defender in the coming weeks, so we’d advise taking out Gusto and replacing him with a defender from another team.
