Match Prediction
Selhurst Park has been a tough place to visit over the years, but has only seen one home victory in this campaign. Friday night under the floodlights could be a different story if Crystal Palace can get their fans involved, and this could be a tricky test for Spurs.
Crystal Palace ended a run of three straight Premier League clean sheets with their 4-0 defeat at St James’s Park, and their defence will have to be at their best to stop a Spurs side who have already scored 20 goals this season.
Tottenham enter the game on the back of three wins in a row, and have a chance to extend their lead at the top of the table to 5 points before the chasing pack are in action. Postecoglou has made a dream start to life in England, but will be wary of the problems veteran Roy Hodgson could cause him as a man who has just about seen it all on these shores.
This looks set to be a tight encounter unless Spurs can find an early goal, forcing Palace to take the initiative, but we expect this in-form Tottenham side to utilise their physicality and firepower to see this one through.
Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-2 Tottenham Hotspur
